Caught Roky Erickson at the Beachland Ballroom on Saturday. The openers were some old surf/psych rock dudes. They were dinosaurs but they could still play. Roky’s set was good. He played mostly tracks from The Evil One album. The band did most of the work but when he was singing the proper lyrics he sounded good.
